When I started in the speaking business, I had no other options!
I was a nightclub singer who had just been fired and replaced by a karaoke machine!
I was determined...I’d never let someone else determine my destiny ever again in life!

From being fired and replaced by a karaoke machine to inspiring millions around the world, is not by chance, nor by sheer luck!

It took desire, dogged determination, hard work and continuous learning.

It took learning from mentors and other people who had actually done what I wanted to do. I was not the most talented or the smartest, but I was teachable and I grew my business as a result.
And if I can do it, I know you can do it, too! You just need to know what to do and how to do it.
Like many of you, I started my “working life” doing something completely different and less than satisfying than what I do now.
After being fired from my job as a nightclub singer, I took the leap of faith into the speaking business.
I struggled to work the business and keep the lights on and the phones on as I learned and improved my craft!
Now, my life as a professional speaker affords me and my wife the opportunity to travel the globe inspiring millions to do more, be more and achieve more, using the principles I’ve learned and continue to implement.

In 2006, I got the opportunity to work with Ford Motors in their comeback from the brink of bankruptcy and worked with them for three years and witnessed how they were about to reject a government bailout and go on to billion dollar profits.
For the last few years, I've had the opportunity to speak to thousands of people as part of the National Get Motivated Tour, where I replaced the legendary Zig Ziglar upon his passing. I’ve shared the stage with Les Brown, Daymond John, Tom Hopkins, Lou Ferrigno and many more super star speakers.


My life has been busy since the tour and I am grateful, but unfortunately, it has not allowed me the time to do the speaker training events I used to do. If someone had not helped me, I would not be here today.

So, with a break in my schedule, I believe, NOW is the time for my team and I to share the professional speaking lessons I’ve learned from my time at Ford Motors and The Get Motivated Tour!

I started speaking in schools as a drug prevention coordinator, speaking to children about staying away from drugs. That was where I found my “voice.”
Then I began to get invitations to speak at churches, community centers and rallies where usually there was no speaking fee.
But, I sold my homemade cassette tapes! Often, people at these events had opportunities to hire me! I was well on my way from “free” to real “fee” paid speaking dates!
